I’ve created five new mandala designs to add to the choices in my April 2 post. Cards will be $5.00 each and $60.00 for 12? X 12? giclee prints. I’ll be adding them to my main website soon! You can make a purchase by calling me at 541.899.5709 or emailing me at email@example.com.
In my continuing effort to cultivate my creativity, I have started designing mandalas created from images of my bouquets. They’re coming out beautifully, so I took the first six to be scanned and now have greeting cards designed with these gorgeous mandalas available for 5.00 each and 12″ X 12″ giclee prints for 60.00. I’m releasing them locally first to see how they do before putting them on my main website for sale to my online customers from out of town, so please help me spread the news! You can make a purchase of your own by calling me at 541.899.5709 or emailing me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Choose from one of the following designs:
Princess Parade to support the Arthritis Foundation and Caitlin Ryan
I just signed up for the Arthritis Walk and need your help to raise funds and awareness for arthritis. Adults and children who live with arthritis are often so limited by it that they can’t manage simple tasks like dressing themselves or walking.
That’s why I’m walking for them. 46 million people and more than 300,000 children live with arthritis. At least 80% of adults either have or know someone who has it. And it’s a more frequent cause of activity limitation than heart disease, cancer or diabetes!
Let’s change the statistics! Please join me in making a difference by clicking on the buttons below to make a donation or join my team. This will open a new tab or page and take you to the Arthritis Foundation website. You’ll find the “Sponsor a Participant” link in the sidebar on the left; click and enter “Barb Wallgren” in the web form to make a donation sponsoring my walk and track my total donations. And don’t stop there! Share this with your friends!
I appreciate your support and will keep you posted on my progress.
Meet Caitlin Ryan. Caitlin is the granddaughter of my landlords, Tim and Sandy Ryan. Caitlin has had juvenile rheumatoid arthritis since she was 3. As a result, she has had one hip replacement and the other hip is due to be replaced in November. Please watch her video, and find it in your heart to make a contribution and/or join us at Bear Creek Park for the Arthritis Walk, this Saturday, October 2nd, 2010 at 9am. Every little bit helps to try and find a cure for this crippling disease. Thank you in advance for your support!
From September 9 – 21, I will be away from the shop on family business. My assistant, Misty, will be in the shop to take your call and she’s happy to help you with any orders for custom arrangements; however, we won’t be fulfilling orders that come through Bloomnet or 1800Flowers until September 21st. Thank you so much!
Even before I start to talk about flowers, I’d like you to meet my friend Caitlin, who’s 13 years old. Caitlin has had Rheumatoid Arthritis since she was 3. Here’s her story:
After watching I’m sure you’ll understand why I want to raise money to help find a cure. I’ll tell you more about the latest thing I’m doing to raise funds, the Princess Parade on October 2, in another post soon.
For now, I would like you to know that I will be camping from September 3 – 5, and visiting family back East from September 9 – 20. My assistant, Misty, will hold down the fort til I get back. I’m new to the blogosphere, but will try to post anything interesting that happens while I’m away.
